Back to Lake Pristine after the Auctioneer and i seined it. I snorkeled alone the entire perimeter hoping to see some of my memory species from before the "development", a term which translates in this case to de-vegetating the entire perimeter with a bulldozer. I did find a nice population of Omata among some wood debris and underwater plant life. Perhaps the lake will recover if future folks don't send all kinds of herbacides and fertilizers into the water. I never saw Topminnows here though even in the past, odd to me. Black spotted Gambusia though.
