Brook Silverside (Labidesthes sicculus), Lake Elizabeth, Twin Lakes, Kenosha County, WI. I have always enjoyed illuminating these fish at night and seeing the bright colors they reflect. Dipnetted and photographed in a photo tank, but I had no appropriate lights with me and had to rely on a flashlight and a table lamp. The lamp's weak bulb made everything orange, so I've done what I could in Photoshop to tame the background and remove the orange cast from the fish. Shot with a 90mm macro lens.
