This was our wrap up, an option day for activities. We first checked out some sites marked in The Florida Collectors Guide and then a few of my old sites. No melanistic Chrysotus this time but i finally located the population of Flagfish that James found back in 2009. Right by the drive through teller.
Later we split up, Rudy, Bob and myself heading to the Wakulla River crossing. Bob wanted to snorkel float down the river about 5 miles in the late afternoon! Danger Danger Casper Cox! A canoe trip had been considered and would make for a great adventure in the future, all day, a slow float, with many attentive eyes watching over those fearless enough to snorkel. Note: Take a lunch, camera and cell phone.
